Welcome to Day 6 of my September Sweet Treats Giveaway! Today our featured Trinity Lakes Romance book is Where Our Hearts Lie by Jenny Glazebrook. Jenny has kindly offered a BONUS GIVEAWAY connected to her posts (see below for how to enter the Grand Prize and Jenny’s Bonus Giveaway).
Let’s talk about sweet treats we can indulge in while reading Where Our Hearts Lie.
Today we’re visiting with Josh and Hallie. We learned yesterday (in our Day 5 post with Jackson and Lexi) that Josh visits Joe’s Diner with his friends after church. Josh and Brandon also like visiting Brandon’s cousin, Becky, at her coffee cart. Brandon will always ask Becky for freebies, and she’ll sometimes give them free coffee and bakery treats.
For our sweet treat today, we’ll head back over to Becky’s coffee cart with Josh and Hallie. Becky is Hannah’s sister and we visited her coffee cart in our Day 1 post with Hannah and Joel. What would you like to order today from Becky’s coffee cart?
Here’s the book description for Josh and Hallie’s romance story in WHERE OUR HEARTS LIE:
Can two hurting hearts find where they belong?
Hallie Hollaway is the daughter of missionaries and a child prodigy who desperately wants to fit in. When her first meeting with an internet boyfriend goes horribly wrong, she escapes to her childhood home of Trinity Lakes. The only place she has ever felt safe and loved.
Josh Ladan is the pastor’s kid who once dreamed of following in his father’s footsteps. Until one tragic summer in Australia changed everything. Now Hallie, his clever childhood friend, is back in Trinity Lakes. Josh is closely guarding a secret that he fears will disappoint Hallie, but he is determined to prove himself to her.
Hallie is drawn to Josh, but holds herself back, believing she is unworthy of love. Can Hallie and Josh allow God to work in their hearts and lives to restore trust and hope for a future together?
Visit Trinity Lakes and meet the fun and quirky characters who value family, faith, and happily-ever-after.
Trinity Lakes Romance series can be read as standalone Christian contemporary romances. For a richer reading experience, and the opportunity to learn more about the characters who appear in multiple books, I’d recommend reading the series in order. The ebooks are available for your reading pleasure in Kindle Unlimited.

A decaf Caramel cappuccino. It’s not a common order but it’s one of favourite hot drinks!
Madi S. Australia
I might have to try one of them, Madi. I love caramel. Thanks for commenting!
Hi Madi, I’ve had caramel lattes but not a decaf caramel cappuccino. It would work for me later in the day when I try to avoid caffeine. 😊
I will have a chocolate milk and a Jelly cake. I really loved this book. So much packed into a book. I am changing my order as I am now in America (in my imagination) I want a red velvet cup cake. I had several of them at different places in America and I have to say even the ones from the grocery store over there are way better than the same here. I haven’t had one as nice as the ones I got over there. I bought my first one at a little bakery and it became a favourite
I’ve never tried a red velvet cake. Sounds delicious.
And I’m so pleased you loved the book, Jenny. It’s always an encouragement to hear.
Hi Jenny, I agree, red velvet cake (and many of the cream layer cakes) in the US are better than most of the ones I’ve had at home. The exception is Melbourne, which is where I also discovered my love for French Vanilla Slices. A French vanilla slice and a latte would be my order. 🙂
I would have hot chocolate and a cream filled eclair.
Carolyn F. USA
Yum. I’d join you for that!
Hi Carolyn, That sounds really good. Chocolate eclairs were my favourite when I was younger. 😊
I will have a Hazelnut flavored coffee. Over the summer, I read the Bateman Family books by Jenny Glazebrook. She has more books I have added to my TBR list. Audrey S. USA
Thanks for commenting, Audrey. Hazelnut coffee sounds amazing. And thanks for reading my Bateman Family books. I hope you enjoyed them. Always gives an author joy to hear someone is reading their stories!
Hi Audrey, I’m glad you’re enjoying Jenny’s books. Hazelnut coffee sounds good. 😊
I would like to have a Mocha Frappe, and a jelly filled doughnut!
Hi Sarah, A Mocha Frappe would work for me and I haven’t had a jelly filled doughnut in ages. They are good! 😊
Sounds good, Sarah. Any particular flavor of jelly you prefer in a donut?
Yes I Love the raspberry filled SARAH T. USA
Just tea for me if possible,
I think you might be the healthiest of all of us here, Debra : )
Hi Debra, Tea is good. 🙂
DEbby USA
A caramel cappuccino and a red velvet cupcake.

Hi Cindi, A cinnamon roll with tea would work for me. 😊
Hi Amelia, That sounds lovely. 😊
I would love an iced hot chocolate and an apple cider donut.
Wow, I’d never heard of an apple cider donut so I just Googled them. They look amazing!
Hi Colleen, I haven’t seen apple cider donuts here and they sound really good. 🙂
I am excited to read Josh and Hallie’s story. I love when old friends comes back together and to see how life and time have changed them and brought them to a place where they can have a true relationship. Also, I’ve not read anything by Jenny Glazebrook and I love discovering new to me authors! I am not a coffee drinker, but I am hopeful Becky has chai tea or even a chai latte on her cart for me! Also.. the Book Nerd Kindle Cover is the best! I am going to be searching for that!
Hi Barbara, I love Josh and Hallie’s story. Yes, Becky has chai on the menu, all good! 😊
I would probably get a frozen coffee and a cheese danish! -Kai B., USA

I love the pond with the floating geese. Debra P. USA God bless you.
Hi Debra, The cover is pretty and the geese are important in the story. 😊
Hmm…I’m not a coffee person, but I wonder if Becky sells cinnamon rolls from her coffee cart. If she does, I’m definitely buying one. 😀
Elizabeth L., USA

Natalya L. USA
