Welcome to Day 16 of my September Sweet Treats Giveaway! Today our featured Trinity Lakes Romance book is Always in My Heart by Iola Goulton that’s releasing in November 2024. Iola has kindly offered a BONUS GIVEAWAY connected to her posts (see below for how to enter the Grand Prize and Iola’s Bonus Giveaway).
Let’s talk about sweet treats we can indulge in while reading Always In My Heart.
Today we’re visiting with Trent and Maya. Trent is Tabby’s brother and he’s back in Trinity Lakes for business reasons. Maya wants to move back to New Zealand with her girls. But it’s complicated, and Maya needs Trent’s cooperation to relocate overseas.
For our sweet treat today, we can join Maya and her girls at a lakeside park. The sun is shining and there’s a light breeze off the lake. We could enjoy a snack and/or drink while sitting on a park bench and appreciating the beautiful location? Or, we could be active and go for a walk, run, or bike ride along the lake foreshores? Alternatively, we could hire a boat or kayak and enjoy being out on the water?
Here’s the book description for Trent and Maya’s romance story in ALWAYS IN MY HEART:
Sparks fly when an aspiring attorney comes face to face with his past mistakes.
Broke solo mother Maya Allen is raising her daughter, Sarah, as well as her dead best friend’s daughter … who just happens to be her own daughter’s half sister (thanks, cheating college boyfriend). When her lowlife landlord doubles her rent, she realizes it’s time to make a new plan and return to New Zealand with her children. First she has to do the unthinkable: make contact with her ex and compel him to relinquish his parental rights so they can legally leave the country … and not let her still-strong feelings for Trent get in the way.
Trent Thomas is an intern competing for a role in a prestigious Seattle law firm known for their family values. He figures he’s got the job sewn up when Sterling, Noble, and Wright send him to his hometown of Trinity Lakes to research a dodgy property deal under the guise of offering the townsfolk pro bono legal services. After all, no one will know the ins and outs of small-town Trinity Lakes gossip better than a lifelong resident.
But he hadn’t bargained on Maya, Sarah, and Kacey stealing his chance to get his dream job, stealing his opportunity to leave Trinity Lakes behind forever, or stealing his heart.
A second-chance small town contemporary Christian romance. Visit Trinity Lakes and meet the fun and quirky characters who value family, faith, and happily-ever-after.
Trinity Lakes Romance series can be read as standalone Christian contemporary romances. For a richer reading experience, and the opportunity to learn more about the characters who appear in multiple books, I’d recommend reading the series in order. The ebooks are available for your reading pleasure in Kindle Unlimited.

I would enjoy a good walk in the Park then sit down on a bench and enjoy all the beautiful scenery Have a Blessed Day! SARAH T. USA
Hi Sarah, A walk around the lake sounds lovely. 😊
I think a snack maybe a cream bun or after yesterday having an apple danish for the first time that would work well and a drink water or lemonade on a bench by the lake watching the wildlife. (Have done that by the River Torrens in Adelaide many times when I have been there its relaxing)
Hi Jenny, That’s a hard decision and I’d probably pick the apple danish. Sitting by a lake is relaxing. 😊
I would love to paddle around in the lake in a kayak.
This has been a great time visiting Trinity Lakes and meeting all the different people. I have decided I want to live there. I feel like I already know the town.
I will now be collecting all the books in the series. Audrey S. USA
Hi Audrey, yes, paddling in a kayak would work for me. I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed our journey through the Trinity Lakes series— if only it was a real place. I’d love to live there, too. That’s the charm of fictional story worlds and I hope you can collect all of the books in the series. The good news is there are more books coming in 2025. 😊
I would love to walk around and then sit and people-watch and just enjoy being outside!

Hi Colleen, yes, it’s fun to kayak. 😊
Honestly, all of those appeal to me. I grew up in a boat on the water so I’m always gonna be up for that. And I love taking walks outside. But after being very active, it’s fun to just sit and soak in some sunshine and nature.
Thanks so much for these blog post. I’ve had a blast reading them!
Hi Barbara, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the blog post series. It’s fun being outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. 😊

Hi Cindi, That sounds lovely. 😊
I would enjoy sitting on the bench looking at the water. There maybe geese or swans in the lake. We could enjoy a snack of popcorn, sharing some with the birds or ice cream. Debra P. USA.
Hi Debra, That sounds lovely. We have black swans in the small lake near us. It’s relaxing to watch them, and at different times of year we’ll see pelicans. 😊
I enjoy picnics in the park, preferably not too close to any water that might encourage mosquitos!! I love bringing California rolls or pinwheels on my picnics.
Hi Judith, That works for me. I live in a cooler climate and thankfully we only have to deal with mosquitoes and flies in summer. 😊
I love to walk and then afterwards we could have cheese and crackers with bottles of cold water. Cherie J- USA
Hi Cherie, That works for me. Cold water is refereshing. 😊
