Welcome to Day 3 of my September Sweet Treats Giveaway! Today our featured Trinity Lakes Romance book is I’ll Always Choose You by Lisa Renee. Don’t forget to comment on this post to gain an additional entry in the Grand Prize Drawing (see below).
Let’s talk about sweet treats we can indulge in while reading I’ll Always Choose You.
Today we’re visiting wth Leah and Justin. Leah owns the organic food store in Trinity Lakes and she loves healthy food that tastes good. Fresh figs are God’s candy, according to Leah. Does Justin agree? Would you buy fresh figs from Leah’s store?
For our sweet treat today, we can enjoy a healthy snack of fresh figs and organic orange juice with Leah and Justin. We could go on a picnic and add other treats and drink options to a picnic hamper like the basket on the book cover.
Here’s the book description for Leah and Justin’s romance story in I’LL ALWAYS CHOOSE YOU:
Leah Thompson is the Sheriff’s daughter of Trinity Lakes, Washington state. No one is good enough for his baby girl. At twenty-four, she should be able to choose who she wants to date, but her dad holds Justin’s past against him.
Justin has loved Leah for years, the woman where no guy has been brave enough to pursue. Who would want the grumpy sheriff as their future father-in-law? No one is that crazy. Except Justin is crazy in love and willing to do anything to win Leah’s heart, even to set her up on a fake date with his neck-tattooed mate from Australia. Surely the sheriff will see Justin is the better choice for his daughter. Until the fake love triangle goes terribly wrong.
A forbidden love, love triangle, small town contemporary Christian romance.
Visit Trinity Lakes and meet the fun and quirky characters who value family, faith, and happily-ever-after.
Trinity Lakes Romance series can be read as standalone Christian contemporary romances. For a richer reading experience, and the opportunity to learn more about the characters who appear in multiple books, I’d recommend reading the series in order. The ebooks are available for your reading pleasure in Kindle Unlimited.

I am already a fan of Lisa Renee and her books. I have some of them, including Bachelors of Clear Creek trilogy boxset. It was a favorite gift I received.
Hi Audrey, yes, Bachelors of Clear Creek is a fun series from Lisa. 🙂
I am not a fan of figs. We even had a fig tree on the farm and mum would make fig jam for dad but no one else like it. So I would take some of the organic dried apricots and some home made lemon cordial to drink. Another good read
Hi Jenny, yes, I’d probably go for dried apricots over figs. I don’t mind figs and will eat them, but they’re not something I’d seek out. 😊
Thank you so much for the opportunity. Debra P. USA.
Hi Debra, You’re welcome. 😊
Really lovely cover art design! I’m not the biggest fan of figs, but some orange juice sounds refreshing! -Kai B., USA
Hi Kai, The covers are lovely. If given a choice, I’d choose orange juice over figs. 😊
Thank You so much for the chance to win! SARAH T. USA
Hi Sarah, You’re welcome. 😊
Figs aren’t my favourite flavour profile, but I have a soft spot for any sort of berries on a pininc. Madi S. Australia
Hi Madi, yes, fresh berries definitely belong in the picnic hamper. 😊
I don’t think I care for figs so I would have to choose another fruit. The orange juice would taste good though. Thank you for the chances to win.
Carolyn F. USA
Hi Carolyn, That sounds good. I could swap the figs for fruit salad and OJ. 😊
Figs are alright, but not a favorite.
Amelia S. USA
Hi Amelia, I can relate. 😊
I’ll take the orange juice and give the figs to my dad. 😀 I’ve never been able to like figs, but he loves them.
Hi Elizabeth, That sounds like a good idea. 😊
Never tried a fig…
Hi Colleen, I’m not fond enough of figs to encourage you to try them, lol. 😊
I like fig biccies! But I think I might go with a picnic basket this time. Those were important scenes in the book, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
Hi Dienece, Fig biccies sound interesting. Yes, there’s a picnic scene in the book that is memorable. 😊
I am not fond of figs either. I enjoy grapes. DebraG USA
Hi Debra, I would definitely choose grapes over figs, too. 😊
I love figs! We had 3 fig trees growing up. My mom made fig preserves. It my fave, but I love eating raw figs. Had to fight the birds for them at times! We had a pair of cardinals that loved to nest in one of our fig trees. We had to be careful to watch for their nest when picking figs.
Had a great time reading this book! And again… new to me author!
Hi Barbara, Fig preserve sounds nice. There’s something special about eating fruit straight off the tree (apples, in particular, always taste better). The birds like to have their fair share, lol. I’m glad they left some figs on the tree for you! 😊
I like dried figs. We always have some at Christmas time.
Mary P Australia
Hi Mary, They make a nice Christmas treat. 😊
I don’t love figs by themselves but in other things, they’re wonderful. I enjoy a good fig newton and Costco occasionally sells these fig truffles that I’m positively addicted to. They are chocolate and fig, and only 75 calories for 3. SO YUMMY! I stock up when they have them.
Hi Judith, Fig truffles sound amazing! 😊
The covers are great. I am not a fan of figs, but I do love fresh fruit and orange juice.
Hi Cindi, Fresh fruit and OJ would work for me. 😊
A forbidden love is very intriguing!
Hi Natalya, yes, it’s an intriguing trope and fun to read. 😊

Poor Leah! I could see gentlemen being intimidated by the fact that her dad is the sheriff.
Patty R
USA
Hi Patty, yes, life is tricky for Leah. There are a few hilarious scenes in the book involving her dad in his sheriff role. 😊
I am not a fan of figs,Bridgette S. USA.
Hi Bridgette, I can pass on figs. 😊
I don’t think I’ve ever had a fig plain but I have had them incorporated into dishes or just as fig newtons!
Katie R. USA
Hi Katie, I prefer to eat them with something else. 😊
I don’t think I’ve ever had a fresh fig, but I think I would like it because I love Fig Newton cookies.
Heidi R. USA
Hi Heidi, Fig Newton cookies sound interesting. It’s not something I’ve seen in Australia. 😊
Figs aren’t my favorite, but I can handle low sugar orange juice just fine. This book sounds like a sweet read. Stephanie H. USA
Hi Stephanie, low sugar juice would work for me. I hope you’ll have a chance to read Lisa’s book. 😊
Not a huge fan of figs. Would rather snack on tangerines, grapes or strawberries with the orange juice. Cherie J-USA
Hi Cherie, The fruit snacks would work for me. 😊
The cover is gorgeous and it sounds really interesting!
Hi Joannie, I hope you’ll have an opportunity to read Lisa’s book. 😊
