Narelle’s Thoughts:

I enjoyed reading Love Me, book 2 in A Chapel Cove Romance multi-author series by Alexa Verde. Kristina has spent years in a miserable marriage to a divorce lawyer who didn’t love or respect her. Once their twins are settled in college, he divorces her. Kristina is devastated that one of her twin girls blames her for the marriage breakdown and cuts her off. She returns to Chapel Cove feeling lost and missing her girls. She decides to help her twin brother, Roman, with his house renovation business.

Greg is grieving the loss of his beloved wife. He has moved to Chapel Cove at the request of his five-year-old daughter, Chelsea’s, maternal grandparents. He buys a house in Chapel Cove and contracts Roman to do the renovations.

An adorable meet-cute between Kristina, Greg and Chelsea involving chocolate cake sets up this sweet and heartwarming romance story. Chelsea chose Kristina to be her mommy, and I enjoyed journeying with Greg and Kristina as they drew on their faith to overcome obstacles on their bumpy road to happily-ever-after. Highly recommended.
